Harolds Stevens Athletics Track is a smoke free venue
Coburg Little Athletics Centre understands the harmful effects of smoking on health, fitness and performance in sport and as a result has adopted the following:
- Participants/Athletes are reminded that smoking adversely affects performances and is prohibited during competition or training, within the grounds of any competition venue.
- Coaches and Officials are reminded of their responsibilities as "role models" particularly with juniors, and must refrain from smoking whilst within the centre.
- Whilst competition is underway the arena is a smoke and alcohol free zone.
- Visiting Participants, Coaches, Officials and Spectators are also asked to respect our Codes of Behaviour.
- Spectators are reminded that smoking is inappropriate behaviour in a sporting environment and asked to respect our sport's Code of Behaviour.
Code of Behaviour
Codes of Behaviour (Code of Conduct) underpin the values of Little Athletics, and we encourage athletes, officials, parents and spectators to read and understand the codes, and apply them on competition days and other times when using the track or facilities.

Child Safe Policy

Little Athletics Victoria support the active participation of children in Little Athletics.
This Policy provides the Little Athletics Body and Members guidance to ensure a safe and inclusive environment for all children in Little Athletics and to assist with obligations under child protection laws.
