The rain cleared, the sun came out and we had an amazing response for come try day where new families attend our track and get a taste of athletics.

Our friends at Food family passion provided much needed coffee just like a normal competition day.

Groups did an

Long jump
Shot put
and discuss.

Each event had parent volunteers assisting and our amazing current athletes acting as Marshalls and demonstrating. Others were in the clubhouse manning club tables answering questions or assisting with trial registration.

David Woods had some of the JDS crew demonstrating training drills.

Kristin our CLAC Registrar was at the front gate greeting all morning. Kirsty setting up timing and our VP of Competition Chris Porter running the show.

We had a great response from families and the kids enjoyed the many events they did. Hopefully everyone’s hard work and commitment to Coburg equates to many new registrations.

Well done to our amazing committee, volunteers and kids that ensured it all ran smoothly.
