We are well into the cross country season already and it’s Coburg’s time to host. Our course is an athlete favorite as it heads out via the back of the hammer cage area and along the picturesque Merri Creek path.

Volunteer roles are mainly standing on a point of the course directing athletes. Set up and pack up of the course and it’s an earlier finish than our normal athletics program. Any help is much appreciated.❤️

Competition starts from roughly 8.45am
U6-500m
U7-8 1000m
U9-10 1500m
U11-12 2000m
U13-17 3000m

Athletes can compete for FREE and it doesn’t matter if they haven’t competed yet this season. Athletes wear club/Centre tops and can wear long sleeve or leggings etc for warmth. Name tags are to be worn from the previous summer season.

This is a great chance to try cross country if you haven’t already at your local track.

The coffee van will be in attendance to provide hot drinks to all our awesome volunteers, parents and visiting families from other centres.
